It's really hard to print white on black paper, so this, like some of the other black paper images was a happy outcome for me.  I used the chiné collè (glued paper) process to get additional colour. This can be highly effective. The alternative was to overprint successively darker tones onto a lightly tinted Thai Mulberry paper, and that too came close to the effect I needed to produce.
