Greetings everyone

Aim zine #45 is completed in print and online forms. The online resourcing is extensive as you will discover if you are logged in & go to the AIM about page here. This zine will be available to you for at least a couple of days but it may disappear into a course members page so that we can set up a separate forum, zoom, etc. Reluctant to do that as I think all content creators should have access to all we do. So it will probably remain as is.

Meantime, I sent this notice to Trinity-at-Waiake congregation. It also involves the Auckland Synod. It's possible Lower North Island Synod may find some participants in the hinterlands.

Faith Seeking Understanding

You are invited to a study group with David Bell,
Faith Seeking Understanding. It runs for seven weeks.
Thursdays 10:00-11:15 hrs from Oct 20 to Nov 24.

The venue is Trinity-at-Waiake Methodist Church.

We explore seven topics.These often arise in discussions and dialogues between  those who wonder what Christianity is all about and others who are well-seasoned Christians.  

It is  all about “faith seeking understanding.” The topics in sequence are connected in unexpected ways revealed by practical theological reflection.  

What does it mean to love Jesus ⇚⇛ Four characteristics of love ⇚⇛ Does God exist ⇚⇛ Does the Devil exist ⇚⇛ The happy science, theology ⇚⇛ Blind faith? ⇚⇛ The seven deadly sins. 

The course materials cost is $30. Included are some  online presentations as well as the coursebook.
