Have completed the prints and letterpress type for the Emily Dickinson poem, and the prints and type for the third and final stanza of an A E Housman. I hope to complete stanza 2 over the next days and the first stanza may be 3 days after that.

That will be just a single stanza from W B Yeats. And then binding the prints into 5 or 6 artist books. So a long way to go.

Have completed all the letterpress type and art work for the three poems. The artwork for the title pages is done, but will work the type on that tomorrow. That leaves only the colophon pages art and type to do.

This is a milestone.

With luck, the title pages, which have their artwork already finished, can be completed with the letterpress tomorrow. The following day I will etch two small plates for the book covers, and hopefully round off all those prints by Wednesday.

Well, today it was a bit of a print marathon. I completed the 7 title pages plus had four left over prints that function best as wall art.

Tomorrow the etches for the book cover...hmmm, might not finish these by Weds.

Finished the first cover with typography.

The project now moves to the book-binding phase. This is always nerve-wracking—lining up all the elements for a good result.

What glues and pastes, how to cut the binding papers, how to create a visually effective artist book?
