Hello everyone, it has been a bit of a journey to recreate the new website.  How does it work?

Two interlinked institutions

There's AIM Publishing and kiwiconnexion.

AIM Publishing

At present AIM Publishing has one group called AIM Zines. What's it about?

First we are a very, very tiny publisher of bulletins, essays, sermons, and zines. It is non-commercial. Aim Publishing is set up to make free resources about the Gospel. My good lady - Jill Bell - has a proofreading/editing page - and she does offer a commercial service, besides pro bono work for the church

We highly recommend Philip Garside's PGPL if you want to publish books, e-books, etc. Philip can be contacted in search for people (at the top of the screen) > then if you look at the results you can see "send a message". Easy as.

kiwiconnexion

This has three groups: Creative Spaces, Methodist Survey, and Thinking Theology. You can find resources in each group. It's similar to the old kiwconnexion but with a difference. You display your work on a page you've. Eg, each member of Trinity Art Class can work on their pages and collections. When the time arrives to share your work, post into the Creative Spaces forum with a link to the particular page.

Here's an example - from AIM Zines.

Well, not quite.

Hello everyone, The good folks at Mahara have solved the problem of our Group About pages not being visible, and Greg Thomson has applied the patch. So we are back in business. 😀

Trinity Art Group

We used to have our own private group in Mahara but i decided to move it into Creative Spaces. From now on, each member will have their own page. This can be shared into a common portfolio for Creative Spaces. Max Thomson is the first to be in that place...well done. You can view his latest monotype/mixed media print here.

Trinity Art Group had a tutorial with Mel Church today. She's from Gordon Harris Art Supplies, and is a talented printmaker working with Gelli-plate printing. We are in recess for 2 or 3 weeks now, but may have something to share later on.

Facebook Likes, Shares and Recommends

You will find now that we are back in the social media. What does that mean? That our groups are more visible, if we choose. So if a post appears with a Like, Share button for FaceBook, content creators would be grateful for you to click it.

Are you interested in a recorded video for YouTube?

It will be an online discussion of this poem, and a saying from Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel. Please email me back if you are keen to participate, thanks: trinitybells@gmail.com

Isaiah 33:7-8

The envoys of peace weep bitterly,

The highways lay waste...

Covenants are broken,

Witnesses are despised,

There is no regard for man.

Heschel...

The question about Auschwitz to be asked is not, "Where was God?" but rather, "Where was man?"
